I think that whoever wrote this is a little Microsoft-hating. Halo 3 will rock. And even though there's no one way to please everyone, it will still do good.

ya so what microsoft is milking halo 3. sony milked the ff series and mgs series . and nintendo milked zelda simply put if ppl like it a company will keep making it. and halo 2 may have not have had hte best ending. but it wasnt as bad as u make it out to be. shure the pistol sucked. but what else can u compare with its online.

Sure, the single player was a bit dissapointing but Halo 2 multiplayer sets a standard that has still not been matched, and I'm sure many would agree. Like hundreds of thousand of people. Everyone gets distracted by games like Gears of War but Halo 2 is the one game everybody comes back to.
In short- your judgment sucks!
I personally don't care much for the multiplayer side of Halo 2, but as far as the game goes,
"To each his own," I like Halo 2, the story line, The Music is beyond outstanding, and the character dialog is great.
Bungie admitted that the game could have been better, but thats water under the bridge, get beyond it.
I have HIGH hopes for Halo 3. So do millions of others.
People really should take the time to read what is written and not merely see the words that are placed before them.

So just by those numbers I'd say that EVERY PS3 owner would be marking crosses and about only 1 out of every 10 360 owners would be counting days. Also about Halo 2's ending, I thought it was perfect. The entertainment industry as a whole is founded on cliffhangers, and cry some more about not getting to play the level that was in the E3 video. I will admit Halo 2 was not perfect, but no game is or ever will be.
Also how could you say WoW is not a license to print money? 8+ million subscribers times 15 bucks a month equals 120 million a month in revenue. To think I thought gamespot was biased lol...
Folks, don't you think you're perhaps getting just a tad over-excited? Stevie does include Halo 3 in his 2007 Preview, after all. That's hardly a sign of a devoted PS3 fan, now is it?

Look at the above quote again, it reads that Halo, Half-Life, the Nintendo DS and World of WarCraft ARE ALL products carrying the 'license to print money' label.

With Halo 2, the series' focus shifted from campaign to multiplayer, and I don't think there are many fans of the franchise that regret this move. No matter how engaging or innovative a single-player experience is, it will never beat the competitive joy of online deathmatches. If Halo 3's multiplayer is a significant improvement over Halo 2 (which I expect it will be), they may as well release it without even including a campaign mode. They would still have the most visceral and exciting console experience ever produced.
FAr As i am consider Halo 2 was fine and halo 3 will be awesome that guy is a pissed off geek thats all i like ps3 and xbox 360 and wii they all have there good points soo i keep all because at certain points they all get great games but this writer needs a punch on his face
i thing grand thef auto IV is gunna rock it is seriously a good series and i hope they keep it up i will buy it the day it comes out and play it till i get bored witch might be a while lol and as for halo 3 totally sweet i would get it if i had a 360 but im digging ps3 any comments on ps3?
