New WWE games coming from THQ

Farrell talks up PS3 significance

THQ CEO Brian Farrell has revealed online that the publisher are hard at work on fresh iterations of the WWE series.

While traditional new titles in the franchise are planned, THQ are also looking to build up the IP online - perhaps starting in Asia.

The firm has extended the rights to the WWE franchise until 2014, Farrell also telling fellow suits that the firm will continue moving gamers from PS2 to PS3 this winter.
