what's so great about Emerald? it has everything from both Ruby and Sapphire AND THEN SOME! you can trade with Fire Red and Leaf Green. there's a new battle tower. there's a new champion (Wallace, who was gym 8). Steven is now an elite trainer. it will be the best pokemon game ever.
on sale in Middlesborough UK? October or November this year unless you can import the US version that is released on April 30th.

I must say actually I am a real pokemon fan but this..... I want a new plot and a new world instead of couple of lame extras. This is the best way to get people to waste money with out having to be creative >_< Nintendo has really lost the point of this game.

I extremely enjoy Pokemon Emerald. There are some few changes from ruby and sapphire. I like the Kyogre and Groudon scene. Does it contain Jirachi or Deoxys? I gonna get them all!

This will suck. A cheap money wasting addon like Pokemon Yellow and Crystal. The PKMN game I want is one that has all 3 regions (Kanto,Johto and Hoenn) and all the Pokemon. That would be good. Hopefully they'll make one for the DS. Hold on, Nintendo's cheap. They won't. Oh well...
Well, it's like R&S just with some features like when you battle, sometimes another trainer can join for a 2 vs 2. And you can catch more legendary Pokemon as well as some Johtos like Smeargle and Sudowoodo. Looks promising

WHEN YOU GET ALL OF THE POKEMON YOU GET DEOXES (you need pokemon colaseam to get Jarachi and you need a special cord )WALLACE (GYM 8) IS THE CHAMPION KNOW. AND STEVEN IS A ELITE TRAINER . IN MY RUBY I GOT LATIOS. KNOW YOU CAN GET LATIAS AND LATIOS. thats how much i've learned so enjoy .

There is a new region u need to do the eite 4 in a certain way to go there and there are 14 badges in the new region

Pokemon Emerald is nothing compared to fire red and leaf green but if you want to get rid of some money than gone on ahead and buy it. With a few changes from ruby and sapphire sounds like a quick sell up to me. Why don't they just go on ahead and release the new pokemon they made. The C.O has already introduce one of the new pokemon and that's the baby form of snorlax.

Cool! I just lost my Sapphire game and was depressed for a while but this is even better!!! Will get it as soom as it comes out!
Oh and Poony the point of FireRed and LeafGreen is so now you can get all the pokemon, only you need to hook up with friends (or buy all the different versions) to do it. That was always the case, though, if you look at Red/Blue even way back then you needed to trade between both versions (or cheat w/ a gameshark) to fill the entire pokedex.

Ive completed da whole game iv gone to every islan evan da worlds edge one. To get to the islands like southen island, birth island and dat lot u normaly cant get to well i talked to da woman at da harbor and she said where would i like to go to. she takes u to every island dat u would normaly get to by nintendo event or cheat system. i done my cheat i got on my xploder version 6 and every pokemon i saw in da wild was lvl 100

I think I'm going to like this remake. It's like Yellow to Red and Blue only with a new Battle Frontier(1Battle Pike /2Battle Arena /3Battle Factory /4Battle Dome /5Battle Tower /6Battle Pyramid /7Battle Palace) instead of only Battle Tower. I think neither aqua or magma are good and you fight their Kyogre and Groudon in a double battle, and when you're done with them rayquaza comes and battles you.

I agree with Derrik, Emerald to Ruby and sapphire is like yellow to Red and Blue, or Crystal to Gold and Silver. It may seem like a rip off to make more money without making a new story, but this time when you get to hoenn the fight betweenMagmas Groudon and Aquas Kyogre is Raging. Raquaza has awakened. You do Fight in a double battle against Kyogre and Groudon, and Rayquaza does battle you(you can catch all three of these). (P.S. I'm Derrk)

Well it is like yellow and crystal... But they changed a lot of things... You look different you can catch both pokemon from ruby and sapphire(INCLUDING LEGENDARIES). The villain plot is slightly different and theres battle frontire... But never fear Diamond and Pearl DS are coming out next year!! YEAH!!! NEW WORLD AND PLOT!!!

you can get mew on this game there are about 5 new areas. the two on two battles have been upgraded so that say a triathlet and a pokemon breeder can battle you at the same time and in one point of the steven battles a long side you aginst team magma oh yeah you can get both Groundon and kyroge on this game but mirage island is still hard to get to
