I have never played a game that in which I felt that cheats are so stupid, this game returned the true meaning of a game after it disapeared in all the sea of stupid games...I want the sequal, and I just pay any sum of money for it!
not including mp in this game would be a real shame, DXMP is the best to be had, the only reason it didnt fully take off was becuz it wasnt included with the game, if it takes you half a year longer to make the DX2MP then take it, I along with others will be VERY sad to see no DX2MP
Firstly, does that mean Vas didn't buy the original DX since the game is not five years old?
Secondly I have to agree with BlueFire, Deus Ex, can have multiplayer, and should have multiplayer, but NOT DEATHMATCH!!! We haven't seen Co-op mode in an FPS since SS2, or how about different stratergy based multiplayer perhaps in the same line as CS. The only reason the original multiplayer failed was because it was trying to put high paced action into a game that needs to be played slowly.
Lastly, I'd just like to add, I think vehicles should be added. Although levels can be designed so they aren't needed, why do that. Vehicles are fun, to use. Perhaps even add a function to lower your control over the vehicle when drunk.
Oh yeah, that reminds me, more food and drink types. Esspecially drink types. :)
Yes ! I became Denton, while playing. And I want more missions, I've played on my Mac G3, but hope to have a G5, with the ATi Radeon 8500 card, with OS 10.+ or even Classic. But keep it playable for a G3 300 mhz machine.
Need some missions in curent events, like a cave system, say, in Afghanistan, and some badasses of same, for my sniper rifle. Now I'm at the edge of my chair!!
The problem with including vehicles is that it would be a forced scenario in a game about choice. One of the best features of DX was the fact that you could play any style, and solve problems in many ways.
Including a vehicle would require massive open spaces, or a long corridor (unless you feel like driving fifteen feet back and forth). Including that would in all likeliehood force the player to use it.
While not changing the game would be bad, messing with a working formula would be illlogical.
I think including vehicles could very much ruin the DX experience.
Hey, there at Ion storm studios. You did a great job in Deus Ex, so please go on by making that deus ex 2 available as soon as possible.

There were no mistakes really noticable in Deus Ex.
But... if they think they made mistakes in the original, they will want to make the sequel even better!! No-one tell ion storm.

Geeze, when I think about Deus Ex 2, I smile and get giddy. I remember watching my friend playing the first one, I was instantly drawn. Its a shame a lot of people only play the first mission and quit because they ran out of ammo or something even weaker. Deus is an experience that is like reading a choose your own adventure novel. Ive replayed it about 5 times now. Sometimes I get the craving and just play it... what an experience...

agreed with mp being needed-altho to a limited extent-sven coo-op form the hl experience is the sort of idea i'm thinking of rather than the high intensity low scale warfare of cs or wolfenstien. 1 question i do have to ask is-are u going to have to wait as long for the crosshairs to contract so u can get a half decent shot with a pistol

I just LOVED Deus Ex and i just even want till the second comes out. You can count on me the be the first in line to buy this game, I heard there is a deus Ex movie coming out to i might wacth that too.

I would almost pay Ion not to make the game only 2/3 as long as the original. That was exactly what I liked about it, it was LONG! It took time to beat. It was an actual story. Some PC games are not long enough...Aside...I didn't hear people complaining about the length.
I'd really like to see multiplayer is Deus Ex 2. It's like leaving out half the game when you can't play multiplayer.

My brother completed the game with Gunther still alive! (Although it must have been a bug.) He just ran away.
The game is supposed to be out this year, but I bet it wont be. I cant wait much longer. I might have to kidnap Warren Spector and demand a copy of DX2 as the ransom.
