A new "Title Update" is on the way to Shadowrun, with the patch expected on Live early next week, with Windows Vista not far behind.

We're told to expect a whopping 2-300% improvement in waiting times for matchmaking games, as well as better notifications. Less splitting will also occur, and we hear talk of faster, stronger syncing at the start of matches.

Loopholes used by cheats have also been closed, and Artifacts are now clear in Attrition mode. A range of other fixes and improvements have been confirmed, and players will no doubt appreciated the improved feedback the game will now offer.

Various AI and HUD tweaks are included in the update, and the game will behave a lot more intelligently in a number of areas key to the playing experience. All in all this 'Title Update' looks set to put Shadowrun, Microsoft's first cross-platform game between the and PC, on the course to becoming the game it should be.
