GameCube in the were at their highest since launch last week, as the console overtook the to take the number one spot – thanks mainly to some fantastic bargains at retailers like Argos and Dixons, and the release of the long-anticipated Prime.

According to a report on The Register, will be attempting to continue this positive momentum, thanks to the launch of the GameBoy Advance SP, which comes complete with a crafty fifty-Euro rebate off a Cube purchase.

The extraordinary Argos sale, which saw Cube's going for £78.99 will however end on April the 1st, so it seems that to continue this surprise-week's success, Nintendo may have to do a little price-cutting of their own. We shall see.
