One gamer from California was seemingly more riled than most to discover his freshly purchased copy of 3 was faulty, and instead of returning the game to the shop he bought it from, the gamer in question has instead opted to sue and for 5 million USD in damages.

Gamer Randy Nunez is going to battle it out in court on behalf of all gamers affected by Halo 3 problems in California, stating that the game should have been recalled as it causes the 360 console to “crash, freeze or lock up.”

Nunez believes that Microsoft and Bungie are ignoring problems with the release, despite “mounting consumer complaints and inquiries concerning this operational flaw."

Apparently, an increasing number of gamers are being presented with a message stating the disc was 'unreadable', when trying to load the game. More on Nunez's soon.

I recently have been having loading problems with Halo 3, and sometimes it sounds like it is crunching up the insides of my console. How do I know that it's just Halo 3 doing this? Well, none of my other games do it!!!

This is just disgusting. Will he share the 5 million with other gamers who have similar disc problems? Talk about trying to get rich quick.

I agree with Mietrietch. Its people like that who force companies to pay more money on lawsuits than on game development, which makes their games suck.
