Sony's pre-E3 conferencing continues Stateside, and a couple of new PS2 add-ons have been confirmed. First comes a USB camera device, which will use motion sensor technology to detect movement and impose the players image onto the screen. The EyeToy comes complete with 12 mini-games, and promises to translate player movements into on-screen actions. It will be out in October (in the USA at least).

A USB headset will also be heading our way in September, and looks to be similar to the Xbox Live Communicator. The headset will for communication over the internet, as well as using voice recognition for additional game play elements. A number of Sony's latest titles will use this new technology.
