Steam passes 15 million users
Platform on the rise
Valve Software have dismissed the critics and declared that PC gaming is "thriving," simultaneously confirming that over 15 million gamers are now using their Steam content delivery platform.
"PC gaming is thriving, and has evolved into an era of constant connectivity," beamed Valve business boss Gabe Newell.
He added: "That connectivity gives us the ability to have a much better relationship with customers, not just for delivering our games, but across all aspects of our business - including the design, development, and support of our games."
Valve clearly feel that their new community features are beginning to help, and with more third-parties signing-up to deliver their PC releases via Steam we can't help but think they might just be on to something.
