Acti re-releasing Call of Duty 4 on Xbox 360
Game of the Year edition spied
A 'Game of the Year' edition of Call of Duty 4 will be released by Activision on the Xbox 360, we learn this afternoon.
The game will be released next month, and will include a new-look box, and a token for downloading the forthcoming 'Variety Map Pack', the first DLC being released for Infinity Ward's hit FPS.
Creek, Broadhouse, Killhouse and Chinatown maps will be included in the pack, which will cost 800 Microsoft Points; a spring debut is on the cards, according to word from the developer.
Whether this special edition release will make it to the PS3 and PC remains to be seen, so only Xbox 360 players can crack open the bubbly at this juncture.
