Free TrackMania exposed
Nations Forever revealed
A freshly free version of TrackMania has stepped into the limelight today, called TrackMania Nations Forever. Nadeo Studio will develop as usual.
Apparently, the game will be based on the popular TrackMania Nations, which has been installed some 30 million times and enjoyed by more than four million gamers.
The online title will be bolstered by a new Stadium environment, and a whopping 65 new tracks. Nadeo reckon the title will be popular with e-sports competitors.
"Even if you play Nations Forever quietly alone, you can still be ranked in the world, your country, your city or even in your list of friends that you can create by inviting friends to join like in Facebook or MySpace," beams big cheese Florent Castelnerac.
"It is up to each player to set his or her goals - become one of the best players in the world or just impress friends. These ladders are adapted to everyone and they add ten times more interest to solo or multiplayer modes."
The game will be out on April 16th, and cunningly it'll be free to download, allowing players to compete with purchasers of retail pack TrackMania United. Those downloading this new release who already own United will be given a free add-on, United Forever, too.
Class dismissed.
