Speaking on Capcom's blog, executive Christian Svensson has railed against the tidal wave of on the platform.

He noted the vast quantities of file-sharers distributing copies of Devil May Cry 4 online, and is clearly both concerned and aggrieved.

"I’m not sure about how in general feels, but [the PC release] is not doing as well as I would like in the US at retail," he conceded.

"It’s such a good version and it really deserves better sales. I know it’s getting pirated to hell and back (it was up on torrents literally the day it shipped)."

Capcom certainly aren't the first publisher to note the levels of PC piracy with concern, and they probably won't be the last.

Why don't they distribute it online rather then in stores (or online first then stores latter)? Everyone these days has a DVD burner so Capcom are just asking for their game to be pirated.
