Alan Wake still alive - Remedy

Bumpy ride hinted

Despite its conspicuous absence from E3, and its likely absence from Games Convention in Germany this week, Xbox 360 exclusive action-adventure title Alan Wake is alive and well.

Alan Wake is being created by Max Payne wizards Remedy, who have been working on their latest action opus for some years now, promising a title that can shake up the genre and deliver new layers of cinematic immersion.

"Yes, we’re still here and working hard on getting Alan Wake for you to enjoy," CFO Mika Reini teased on the official forums.

"If everything had gone perfectly smoothly there probably would be a game out for you guys to play already," the exec admitted.

"But designing a completely new game can be hard, and sometimes you need to take a detour to find the best route forward."
