Announced with the company's financial results, are ending their relationship with Nintendo. The company behind game & hit maker Lara Croft spoke out at the GameCube's poor not driving enough software sales.

"The is a declining business" said Mike McGarvey, Eidos CEO, told the Times; "If other companies follow us they will have a hard battle to fight"

Despite constant release date slips on their flagship 'Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness' product - which finally made its way out the door two months back, a rebranding initiative, and losing the publishing deal for the huge series, the results are upbeat. The coffers are swelling with £17.4m of pre-tax profit.

The future is not looking so bright for on the other hand – US publisher Acclaim announced similar dropping of GameCube support recently.
