A spot of pricing information has today emerged on Nokia's imminent entry into the handheld gaming industry; the N-Gage. This news is significant because the pricing of the unit has been a much-conjectured talking point, and is of course crucial if Nokia are going to make themselves competitive and begin building a fanbase before can wow us with the PSP. It's therefore pleasing to note that O2 can furnish you with an for a fairly reasonable ₤100, assuming you sign up for a twelve-month contract that is. Oh, and that you do it before October the 6th (see O2.co.uk for further information).

Elsewhere, you can of course pick up one the beasties without the constraining contract, from various retailers both on and off-line. Buying an N-Gage this way will however set you back something in the region of ₤250 (depending on bundled games, etc.), which is a rather stinging sum to say the least. Thanks to Eurogamer.net.
