The free content upgrade already added to the release of Team Fortress 2 won't be heading to the PS3's Orange Box release, developer have confirmed. Apparently, the game maker simply doesn't have any PlayStation developers in-house, although the update will be added to the in the future.

Publisher Electronic Arts handled the conversion of The Orange Box in house, and the quality of the port was heavily questioned at the time of release; Valve now suggesting that won't undertake the release of this additional content.

"They’re not doing ongoing on The Orange Box for the PS3," Valve marketing boss told 1UP.com, having also revealed Valve's lack of PS3 expertise.

So... it looks unlikely that future game releases from the firm will land on Sony's format.
