With the game now out on the PC, have hinted that 3 could be back on the agenda on the PS3. The port was previously on hold.

Videogamer.com today report that the game is once again in development, the team considering doing "some really cool things" with the extra storage space on Blu-ray, as well as the 1080p resolution.

Developers EA LA have previously described the PlayStation 3 as "exotic", hence the delays this version of the game have suffered from.

"When we announced Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 we announced there was a version, then we decided to go on the record and say that we've suspended it to make sure that RA3 was able to come out to the level of quality that it must adhere to to be called a C&C game," offered C&C presenter David Silverman.

"We've hit that mark, we've shipped the game. And you know what that means? That means there's another version left to be had. So there's definitely people working on a PS3 version and we'll be talking more about that later."

More on this PS3 version as we get it.
