Heart of Darkness paying off for Ubi

Ubisoft's original take on the first-person shooter, the ambitious Far Cry 2, has now sold over one million copies - company boss Yves Guillemot has revealed.

Given the stiff competition this Christmas, especially in the action genre, Ubi and their Montreal development studio must be relieved to have passed the million milestone so quickly.

Far Cry 2 "is well on track to achieve our expectations for the year," CEO Yves revealed, the exec noting a "solid start".
