Time magazine this evening reveal their top ten games of 2008, IV an uncontroversial choice as the year's finest gaming release.

More interesting is Jonathan Blow's much admired XBLA at number two, while is perhaps a more conventional choice at number three.

Rock Band 2 is fourth, followed by 2, riding rather high at six, followed by Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (really?) at seven.

Hunted Forever is eighth, followed by FieldRunners at nine; bringing up the rear in tenth.

So, no place for PS3, 2, 2, 09, 2, World of Goo, or a number of other very highly rated titles. Your thoughts, players?

Well FIFA 09 I can understand why that didn't end up on the top 10, very disappointing that game. World of Goo I think should be up there somewhere, innovative and childish fun. Far Cry 2 should definitely be up there, the flamethrower says it all.

One game on the list that shouldn't be there I'd say would be Star Wars: Force Unleashed, it was more of a mediocre game.

"Hunted Forever is eighth, followed by FieldRunners at nine" Never even heard of these games. That has to mean something.

Think Dead Space is truly deserving of it's 6th place, perhaps should be higher even. That game really put you on the edge of your seat. Makes you look back an extra time just to make sure. The faint whispers you hear. Words are not enough, just play it. And well first place GTA4, that's kinda obvious.

GTA IV is totally boring, a big disapointment for me anyway.

Fable 2 is where its at, as far as I'm concerned
