Halo Wars officially dated

2009 plans emerge from Microsoft

Halo Wars - the final game from RTS specialists Ensemble - has today been officially dated by Microsoft, who reveal that the new Halo-world based strategy title will be released in Europe on February 27th, and in on March 3rd in the USA.

Those pre-ordering Halo Wars will be gifted a few tasty extras, and Microsoft are placing a lot of emphasis on this title, despite their less than ambitious plans for the title's development studio.

Still, Ensemble have previously spoken about their desire to create a cracking game in order to highlight Microsoft's "mistake" in closing the firm, so we're still optimistic.
