Mario Power Tennis set for Wii in March
Pikmin due in February
Word on the block this afternoon has it that Nintendo will deliver Mario Power Tennis to the Wii come March 6th.
The game was originally a hit on the GameCube, and will be spruced up via new Wiimote-based controls. Pikmin is also set to return, with Wii-led tweaks in place, and this hit will arrive a month earlier on February 6th.
According to official word in today from the Big N, "Pikmin just got a bit more perfect! while it now "makes full use of the Wii Remote’s point-and-select capability, which will delight anyone who enjoys a real-time strategy adventure."
On Mario Power Tennis, we're told ready ourselves for "action more intuitive than ever before" with a new two-player split-screen multiplayer option, taking its cues from Wii Sports Tennis.
