New test for Battlefield Heroes opening

DiCE reveal fresh beta plans

DiCE's ambitious free-to-play online shooter, Battlefield Heroes, has been quiet for a while now - the game having been pushed back from the previously planned 2008 launch.

However, it looks like the Team Fortress-esque online action title is a little nearer to release, with DiCE today lifting the lid on sign-up opportunities for a fresh upcoming beta test of the game.

You can join the action online now, and it seems the game's developers have been diligently working away on the title's issues since the game was pushed back last November.

With this working now coming to close, it seems its time for Battlefield Heroes to once again stand up and be counted.
