EA delay Dragon Age, Sims 3 and Godfather II
Kiss winter goodbye
Yet more fresh news from EA's brimming financial report, which covered the publisher's third-quarter troubles, and looked to the year ahead.
As part of first-half 2009 reshuffling, BioWare have confirmed that eagerly awaited RPG Dragon Age will now not arrive in the first of the year - slipping into the second half instead.
The developer assert that this time will allow them to craft the best game possible. "I'm really proud of our team, who are working very hard to make Dragon Age: Origins the biggest and most exciting BioWare game yet, and we will work to ensure it not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of our loyal audience of fans," offered Ray Muzyka.
The Sims 3, meanwhile, will also slide - from this month to June 2nd, EA stating that this will give the publisher more time to build hype ahead of release, or the "perfect runway to create awareness for The Sims 3," if you prefer marketing man Russell Arons' interpretation.
Godfather II was also set to arrive later in February - but EA have now opted to push this back a little too - the game scheduled to emerge in the 2010 fiscal year (which begins in April).
