Fallout 3 developer goes mobile

News surfacing from the New York Comic Convention is that Bethesda is working on a game for the iPhone.

During a panel at the show, Fallout 3 executive producer Todd Howard confirmed the information but gave no further details.

Newsweek corespondent N'Gai Croal reported the development via his Twitter feed, calling it the "Biggest news from the Comic-Con panel".

The announcement has helped the reputation of the iPhone as a gaming platform, and will surely contribute to the number of developers taking the device seriously.
