Big Capcom titles for 2010
Dead Rising and Lost Planet sequels in no hurry
Speaking on the latest Major Nelson podcast, Capcom US big wig Chris Kramer has hinted that big name titles like Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 are unlikely to arrive until 2010.
"Capcom’s kind of on a 30-year high right now," the executive enthused, in dialogue with Xbox Live stalwart Nelson.
"It's a pretty amazing place to be, between everything we've got going right now, between the launch of Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5, and our big titles for next year, Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2."
Capcom have released Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV during the post-Christmas new year lull, garnering epic sales results in this uncluttered launch environment; which perhaps explains why the firm might hold off until 2010.
