DSi passes two million in sales

New milestone reached in Japan

Word in from Japanese stalwarts Famitsu this morning reveals that the DSi handheld has now passed a whopping 2 million in sales in Japan.

The new look DS console has shifted an impressive 700,000 units since the turn of the year, flying off the shelves somewhat faster than the original DS, or the DS Lite, managed.

The console is set to arrive in Europe on April 3rd, and in the US on April 5th. More on this very soon.
