Famitsu gets Xbox Mixer
Japanese freebie promotes Xbox

The Xbox's promotional efforts in Japan continue as enthusiastically as ever - with Microsoft today revealing a new collaboration with Japanese gaming mag Famitsu that will see Music Mixer for the Xbox cover-mounted as part of a special edition.
Other Xbox patrons around the world have to pay for Music Mixer - which was unveiled at this year's E3 - but not the lucky Japanese who will instead be able to get their paws on this DVD come January.
The software is due out in Europe this side of the festive season, and promises to expand the music playback possibilities of the Xbox, adding functions like Karaoke, music video production, etc. All of which we'd imagine will appeal to the Japanese games market who rather like their Karaoke, I'm told.
More on this as we get it.
