No new Star Fox on Wii?
Cuthbert concerned for series, hardcore fans
Speaking to G4, Dylan Cuthbert - the creator of Star Fox - has said that he will not make a new version of the title for the Wii; and he doesn't sound too happy with Nintendo's stance in general.
The designer describes Nintendo's console as "a toy", adding that Shigeru Miyamoto doesn't really care about hardcore gamers.
"The Wii controller would be a bit too hard to use. I don't know... maybe the new one [the MotionPlus add-on]. Maybe that'd be more fun to play with. I don't know. The Wii is a bit more of a toy, I think," he told the website.
Cuthbert continues: "That's all Miyamoto. Whenever I speak to Miyamoto about Star Fox, he says it's not meant to be just a flying, sci'fi shooting game. It's meant to be anything we want to think up. But the core fans don't want that, but Miyamoto doesn't really care about that. He wants to make what he wants to make, so he just goes ahead and gets it done."

I think Miyamoto is right! I love star fox, it's in my top 3, behind mario and zelda! I like the way they went with assault but the controls were a little hard to get used to but after you get it, its really fun. I personaly hope that if they do make a new one for the wii that it's not connected to star fox comand. why? because I dont have a ds and cant get one any time soon, also I'm not the only person who likes zelda and dont have a ds. I want them to continue after assault but keep some things from command to make it interesting. I hope nintendo gets this and listens to what I said and make it seqel to assault!!!
i have to fix something in my last post. i ment to say star fox when I said the second zelda. sorry about that. next time I'll read it before I post it
last year at e3 I was glued to the TV, hopping that nintendo was going to show a new starfox.... But I was horribly disapointed. now e3 is again almost here so I'm hopping once more that they at least have a teaser. Even if they dont make it i will watch it a hundred times. I need my starfox fix! PLEASE NINTENDO DONT DISAPOINT ME AGAIN!!!!
Its been what 3 years when SF Command came out and now i bet we will wait 4 more years till they come out with a new Star Fox
But lets hope its only till E3 this year or next or if the put some kind of trailer showing there WILL BE A NEW STAR FOX. please
Today during school I was daydreaming about an idea for a new starfox. It involved the team letting a semi-ace pilot with telekinesis help them with some remaning aparoids that somehow survived the self-distruct program. I didn't think it completly though but I think it could work. If nintendo is checking sites for their fans responses (like they should be) then they can use my idiea.

damn starght mr. Miyamoto should listen to Cuthburt and start production now. Star fox was the greatest title to hit nintendo next to zelda and mario. Mario757 is right and nintendo should listen to us and begin on making the next game in the series. The nintendo wii a freaking toy? what the hell? they has to make another. according to my research Star Fox sold millions of copies and lots of them went to hardcore gammers like myself, if you make a great game like star fox people want to see more of it and if they want more wii's to sell they'll make another game of one with my favorite charater Fox McCloud.
not suprising that E3 didn't unveail a new star fox game because it hasn't even hit production yet. so if we have to wait for at least one year I garentee it will all be worth it if they put the total vehicle lvls at match with the on-foot lvls

I am a true fan of starfox, I agree with miyamoto. If we were stuck in the arwing on every game it would suck.
I like the arwing missions it's just I have to say, I think a starfox game like a return to Dinosaur planet (Sauria) would be an awesome game! And I love the story line of Adventures it had the best graphics of all the starfox games and New character Krystal! And thats almost the only reason I like starfox games is the relationship between Fox and Krystal. I also think Starfox Wii should take after Assault cause command really was just a entertainment game for different fans.

That would be an awesome game.
But instead of Krystal being captured have Fox and Krystal both be teaming up for an adventure together.
