Capcom eye Monster Hunter growth in Europe
Big push for new PSP release promised
Capcom's Monster Hunter series is already a phenomenon in Japan, where it has in the past been single-handedly responsible for driving new console sales. Now, the publisher want to grow the series' prowess in Europe, too.
Speaking with MCV this week, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto issued a rallying cry - promising to increase awareness of Monster Hunter across the continent.
"What has been lacking in Europe in the past with the Monster Hunter series is definitely the promotion," offered Tsujimoto-san.
"The PR and marketing for the last two titles in the series have been very limited, but this time we're taking things far more seriously in terms of the promotion."
Monster Hunter Portable 2G will be released in Europe, on the PSP, this spring.
