Call of Juarez 2 dated worldwide

Bound in Blood for summer launch

New Wild West-themed first-person shooter Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has been dated for release in Europe and North America.

The cinematic action romp, a prequel to the surprisingly good original, will hit the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 3rd in Europe, following a June 30th debut in North America.

We recently had the pleasure of taking a look at the game and it does seem to progressing well, what's more we'll be assessing the multiplayer aspect hands-on before May is out to boot.

This from last month's preview: "Bound in Blood certainly looks the part, and we can't help but warm to the setting, which really should have spawned more games than it has. Still, Techland are nonetheless entering a competitive genre that has come a long way since the first Call of Juarez whistled across the plains."
