No Indigo Prophecy 2 from Cage
Story has been concluded...
Heavy Rain mastermind David Cage has no plans to create an Indigo Prophecy 2, the designer stating that both the characters and plot from the game have been wrapped-up.
Speaking to 1UP, Cage admits that he felt a sequel would have been a "commercial disaster", despite the fact that publishers were interested in helping the game maker muster a second game.
"I started thinking of Indigo 2 but I quickly realized I had nothing more to say on this story and these characters. I really enjoyed the time I spent with them, but they were attached to a moment in my life, and I had moved on," Cage explains in a new interview.
"I wanted to write something more personal, deeper, more adult, with no world to save and no supernatural powers."
Heavy Rain, Cage's latest opus, will hit the PS3 later this year.
