Konami plans new RPGs
Coming to consoles late 2004
Konami have today confirmed their latest signing - the console versions of new RPG YS VI: The Arc of Napishtim to be released in winter 2004. Nihon Falcom Corporation are the developer behind the YS series; which last appeared in September in Japan. The PC version of YS VI is apparently Japan's most popular RPG, a fact the publisher attributes to its expansive viewpoint, colourful characters and involving plots.
YS VI will be expanded for consoles as part of the agreement, with improved graphics, new controls, and even new maps, enemies and missions - which will see series lead character Adol Christian exploring a desert island.
