Infinity Ward unsure over MW2 map pack quota
Two packs to follow title, initially, says Bowling
Speaking after Activision inferred that Modern Warfare 2 might only get two downloadable map packs after launch, Infinity Ward have added that more could come later and that nothing is set in concrete yet.
"As far as DLC goes, we love it and plan to support Modern Warfare 2 heavily with post launch support. We've confirmed we'll be doing AT LEAST two map packs which were announced at E3 as a timed exclusive for Xbox 360," designer Rob Bowling told MTV.
"The fact that we confirmed at least two map packs doesn't mean there won't be more; honestly we plan on shaping our DLC based on community feedback from the full game, and first two DLC map packs.
"Therefore, the community will really determine what comes after that."
Fingers crossed the developer can be coerced into adding more to their opus later.

MAG is coming out for only the ps3. its an online game that holds 256 people per match. and the map is HUGE. xbox isn't coming out with this game because their server isn't strong enough to hold 256 people per one game and have several games.

Xbox gets them early because Microsoft actually puts effort into advertising the game in different ways. Sony on the other hand, does not. I own both systems, Xbox 360 is by far the superior console right now. Sony just doesnt have a good enough lineup or online system.
o and blaze, you dont know a lot about games if you think thats why Xbox gets it early. Its not so PS3 will get finely tuned maps. The PS3 map will have glitches when they first come out.

360 : + Better online services ( as you actually pay for it ) , great handcontroller which lets you play for a few hours without letting you're hands getting tired which ps3 controller does.
- RROD , a bit expensive to buy all things for it. no BlueRay.
PS3 : + you get much for the money ( Blueray , web browser , free online gaming , wireless internett etc..)
-bad internett services , weights to much ( OLD Ps3 )

Both systems have their weaknesses and both systems have their advantages, I have both and don't give me this shit that people are better or worse on one system than the other, that makes you sound like a jackass. No its fair, competitive gaming has been around since 2005 for xbox and Play Station has only just started this year, Xbox is the future in Competitive gaming and always will be that is why on Gamebattles they dont have a Play station sections on Cybergamer.com.au no Play Station Section, the pros on Xbox are much better then the ones on Play station you can pick up a Xbox controller and know how to do basic movements, play station is just full of nubs, which is why you see so many nuke vids on Youtube by Play station Players.

Basically, we pay for our live membership because xbox live is better than psn, Someone on here was saying we don't get wireless headsets, yes we do. Controllers are far superior on the 360, fit an adults hand much better, ps3 controller is for kids. 360 has a much better 'dashboard' area. A browser will be coming to 360 soon i am sure and can you get sky on your ps3? no? thought so. Has my 360 premium since janurary '06 no sign of RROD and microsoft have been working and seemed to have solved it on new consoles anyway... SO the final word on this is, xBox 360 ftw. x

first of all the reason that the xbox gets this is becuase the programing of the xbox games is done in a computer program that the xbox uses ps3 games are made on programing that then has to be "translated" in to the programing language of the ps3

Alright. I think it's crap that Xbox gets them before PS3. PS3 fans are more loyal to psn and mw2, and also have almost the same mw2 players. Xbox has a much larger network, but its now broken almost even for mw2. They should have the same release date. I own bith a PS3 and 360. I think both systems are very good, but PS3 has more cores, better graphics, and a higher level of play. TRUST ME I PLAY MW2 ON BOTH CONSOLS, PS3 IS BETTER!!!!!!!! But XBOX360 is still very good, with a better live accomadation. Also PS3 has a web browser, blu-ray player, netflix on the browser, and much more customizable things. and psn is also free. Some of you guys a re morons...first off, free maps on the pc are only for some games, and the reason charging for it on the pc wouldn't fly is because you guys are too spoiled to pay. second, they aren't releasing the maps on ps3 later so they are fined tuned, thats bull. Third, flaming about the 360 on a topic not even about it speaks horribly for ps3 owners(and 360 owners too) Finally, the reason they are coming out for the 360 first is cause the game was built on a 360, like most games are. Infinity Ward has a larger fanbase on the 360 and has more to work with there because of the game being designed for the 360 and modified for the ps3/computer...so when you start to bitch about it, realise that it isn't their fault..
