Yet more out of last week's Edinburgh Interactive bash today, as executive Nathan Jones tells us that titles will eventually make it big on consoles, the move described by the corporate affairs boss as 'inevitable'.

Jones believes the fates of MMOs and social networks are intimately intertwined, explaining the importance of Turbine's Online social network.

"MMOs offer the best of social networks, virtual worlds, and games," enthused the big cheese, adding "Companies are increasingly looking to the console platform... whether that's an extension to an existing game or a new one. Once there, it opens up a whole other category of opportunities."

More from Turbine as we get it.

Alot more work needs to be done, for example Phantasy Star online wasn't really that big was it? neither FFXI on the 360 wasn't a hit either.
