Guild Wars 2 mooted at GamesCom

GamesCom day two has drawn to a close and as hinted previously NCsoft have almost - but not quite - announced that Guild Wars 2 is in the works.
A teaser trailer for the new online title was shown off in Cologne, so we know it's coming, we just haven't been given any specific details on this sizable sequel.
Arenanet and NCsoft are working on the sequel as part of a collaboration, and we're offered the following on this important title:
"Guild Wars 2 is a visually stunning MMO that will offer players the epic grandeur of a massive role playing environment combined with the challenge of world-class player vs. player competition. Building on the success and lessons ofGuild Wars, ArenaNet is creating an MMO that lets gamers play the way they want, while at the same time retaining the no-subscription-fee business model that has made the originalGuild Wars so popular."
Guild Wars is of course one of the web's biggest non-subscription successes, and those behind the new game will be hoping to go push even further.
