We're not sure when its going to happen still, but it looks a lot like the price cut is happening, and could be unveiled soon.

US retailer Target are running a series of adverts next week (according to Engadget) which list the 360 Pro model at 250 USD and the 120Gb Xbox Elite at 300 USD.

We're unsure what the console will cost in the and Europe, although a has been predicted for some time as the platform holder looks to head-off Sony's price cut, announced at GamesCom last week.

Rumour has it that Microsoft pulled the of their own price cut from last week's showing, unveiling only III instead. Official word on this soon we hope.
