Nintendo outlines 2004
More dates for Ninty fans
With Christmas next week and the stocking's pretty much as full as they're likely to get, Nintendo has instead changed focus somewhat and is now focussing attention on next year's offerings.
Release dates are the order of the day, and whilst some of you may be alarmed to see the likes of Mario Golf listed as 'Q2', its better news for the GBA with Metroid: Zero Mission, Donkey Kong Country 2 and F-Zero all being penned in for Q2 as well. Anyway, here's our pick from the schedule, which includes both first and third-party titles.
GameCube: James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and Kirby Air Ride - all due in mid to late February. In March there's Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Sonic Heroes and Puyo Pop Fever will also be joining us in Q1, whilst Q2 enjoys Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Phantasy Star Online 3. Very nice.
Onto the GBA now, which gets Need for Speed Underground in January, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town in February, Sword of Mana and Sabrewolf in March, and Metroid Zero Mission in April. Q1 will also bring Sonic Battle, with the heavyweight's like Donkey Kong Country 2, F-Zero 2 and Shining Soul 2 all coming in Q2.
