Crackdown 2 will boast four player co-op
New details on action opus emerge
A raft of new details on Ruffian and Microsoft's Crackdown 2 steps into the limelight today, word reaching us from Game Informer that the title will sport a mighty four player co-op mode.
As previously hinted, Crackdown 2 will once again be set in Pacific City, and that the design of the city hasn't changed too much since Real Time Worlds' seminal release; although the city is now in the grip of a terrible viral outbreak.
The city's inhabitants are seemingly turning into mutants as a result of this horrible illness, and as a result some of the once glittering streets are now looking somewhat worse for wear.
Gang-based action will still play a role, despite the new zombies, a mysterious organisation called Cell also on your back - so those four co-op pals will seemingly come in handy.
Deathmatch will also be included in the mix, supporting 16 players, too. Thanks IGN.
