Speaking to blog VG247, European boss Veronique Lallier has conceded that the previously announced PS3-only in at the firm is now on hold.

"We did an announcement a few years ago about signing a contract with Sony, and actually, to be honest, we didn't put anything into the market," Lallier admitted in the new interview.

"We are not working on anything at the moment. The project we were working on was gaming, actually; not something we continued, unfortunately."

NCsoft do still hope to create MMOs for consoles in the future, but the big cheese couldn't offer anything on this presently. She added that internet-focussed releases, perhaps of the browser-based or 'cloud' variety, are also under consideration.

In more assured news, Lallier reveals that Aion pre-orders in have reached an impressive 300,000 ahead of the game's launch later this very month. Watch this space.
