Secret Star Wars games due from LucasArts

Schafer and other old school names linked

Having confirmed that stylish downloadable adventure Lucidity is on the way, LucasArts today let slip that a series of unannounced games using their Star Wars license are also in the works.

Speaking to GameTrailers TV, president Darrell Rodriguez revealed that several new offerings are on the way based on Star Wars.

Teasingly, Rodriguez made a point of saying that The Old Republic MMO is not one of the titles LucasArts are working on.

Perhaps even more tantalisingly, the big cheese told the website that he'd had meetings with Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Ron Gilbert and Larry Holland (veteran designers of the point 'n' click era).

He concluded: "Wouldn't it be great to work with them on some new things?"
