Users of the PS3's VidZone have been experiencing a deluge of pre-roll this week we hear, stating that this is a bug and that they never meant to annoy their users.

Speaking on the European PlayStation blog, exec Ben Creasey commented that the issue has now been resolved, and that the firm are sorry for riling those using the channel.

"We would never overload you with adverts like this and we apologise for any annoyance and also ask you to keep using the service (and tell your friends) as this has now been fixed," the production boss assured.

Sony Computer Entertainment add that adverts should not show more than once every 15 minutes ordinarily, which still sounds like quite enough to us.
