TrackMania 2 revealed in Paris
Racey
The Paris Game Festival is in full swing across the stream, with word reaching us that TrackMania 2 was officially announced at the event over the weekend.
A release in 2010 for the racing sequel is planned, according to reports, while a spot of hastily recorded trailer footage has already hit YouTube.
Visually, the new racing title looks like leap over other recent releases in the long-running series, while the focus seems to once again be upon insane, physics-defying custom tracks.
New environments (three in total, apparently) appear to be a big part of the new game, while community chatter surrounds the seeming lack of backwards compatibility - this title marking a fresh start for the IP. We'll have more TrackMania 2 as we get it.

Comments
Seriously? No comments on this bad boy yet? Wow. Well, I'll put in my two cents. Those that know me know I'm a HUGE Trackmaniac, and I'll eagerly await the release of this game and buy it happily when it does come out, no matter the price. Of course, my only worry is that it won't have enough "tone down" options to ease the strain on my hardware--since I'm also known for not buying the latest and greatest in PCs. Either way, go Nadeo! ^_^
