Anecdotal word on the grapevine appears to suggest that 3: ODST may be causing some players a few issues, Bungie.net brimming with purchasers of the game bemoaning disc errors they say can render the new unplayable.

According the innumerable forum complaints, which developer are no doubt investigating, the read errors seem to occur mainly during ODST's primary campaign, while Firefight and seems to work just fine for the most part.

Aging Elite model 360s are apparently at the centre of most complaints, although it is presently unclear if this is the only system effected.

    My old Pro (originally 20gb no hdmi) actually has this issue. It would not play firefight level "Crater" for 2 hrs. finally let me. Campaign sometimes gives unreadable error making me start over. Funny enough i put in gears2 and played through the entire campaign same with halo3 and no disc errors, just the odst first disc for some reason.
