Blizzard exec buys into NFL team
Pittsburgh get some gold from Sams
Paul Sams, COO of World of Warcraft makers Blizzard, has been furthering his interests outside of gaming in a big way over the last few days - the executive acquiring a stake in American Football team the Pittsburgh Stealers.
According to word online, the videogaming boss is now one of ten new shareholders joining in ownership of the NFL team.
The big cheese already has a keen interest in youth athletics in a coaching capacity, and it's clear that Sams doesn't only sit in as darkened room frantically harvesting gold.
It is unclear what the NFL stake cost the games industry big wig.
