Sony confirmed at last month's GamesCom that the handheld version of will be free with the new Go, and today we hear that this promotion will last for 10 days following the console's launch.

The launches worldwide on October 1st, and this free give-away will last until the 10th. Those not a acquiring the new handheld during this period will be forced to purchase the game in the usual manner.

Those who do bag a PSP Go in the nick of time will need to head to the PlayStation Store and download the new Gran Turismo theme - they will then be emailed a special download promotional code.

This promotion is sadly only open to Europeans. Well, we say sadly
