Bach sees Live Avatar success
Clothes also a hit, by the sound of things
Microsoft entertainment and devices boss Robbie Bach has been speaking at a new Microsoft Open House bash in New York, the Xbox pioneer revealing that Avatars have been a huge hit on Xbox Live.
Derided at launch as being too similar to the Miis found on the Wii, Avatars have proved a hit with the console's userbase, with over 150 million clothing changes mooted by Bach.
Apparently, this means that on average a Live user has changed their Avatar's get-up a whopping seven times.
Bach also lets slip that more than 200,000 games of 1 vs. 100 are played every weekend, alongside hundreds of millions of multiplayer bouts. Live has some 20 million users.
