EA embrace Steam with new releases
Need for Speed: Shift goes digital
A number of games from EA's vast roster of titles are heading to Valve's Steam content delivery service this week, both new and old titles hitting the PC digital delivery platform.
Priced from 9.99 USD up to 49.99 USD, Need for Speed: Shift is first out of the gates, followed by Battlefield 2: Complete Collection. Then there's Medal of Honor: Airborne, and the original Godfather.
Godfather 2 and C&C Red Alert 3: Uprising complete the ensemble.
Steam's stock has been gradually rising in recent months, publishers unrelated to operator Valve embracing the possibilities of the platform, which not only provides the technology to deliver games but also an audience to sell them to.
