Gamesindustry.biz yesterday reported on the latest issue of acclaimed gaming magazine Famitsu, published in Japan. An article in the new issue apparently confirms further support for Sony's PSP handheld from some of the nation's biggest games publishers, however also suggests that the global November launch touted by Sony Europe might slip.
As well as first part Sony Computer Entertainment titles, Namco, Capcom, Konami and Koei are all planning titles to debut on or shortly after the PSP's launch. Such company's titles may be unveiled at this year's E3 in May, or like Sega, may choose to wait for the Tokyo Game Show in September to reveal their hand. It is expected that SquareEnix may also show their PSP offerings at this time.
In the magazine, an interview with SCE Veepee Saeki Masatsuka implied that a launch in mid-December was also more likely than the previously confirmed global launch in November, though he did not specifically mention other territories in his statement. Finally, Masatsuka suggested that the pricing of the wee beast will be something like 50,000 Yen - about £250 to you and me.

That's hella expnesive, hella expensive. Surely the price will have to be a lot lower then that, or have Sony recently hired the geniuses responsible for the ngage?
