In North America we're told the Live Rewards Program is go, US players being invited to join the scheme that will reward users simply for making the most of the platform.

Invitations were only sent today, and follow a brief pilot, while success in the US of A could see this initiative expanded to other parts of the world.

"The best part is, the more you spend, the more you get, and for each month you stay on Gold, the higher your monthly reward - up to 5 percent of your Marketplace spend," reads news from Microsoft.

Both Gold and Silver member will earn reward points, including for participation in surveys. We'll let you know how all this goes.
