Right-wing British newspaper The Daily Mail has launched an attack on Activision's 2, on the eve of the game's worldwide debut.

A new article from the paper, published online, says MW2 lets players kill civilians in 'terror attacks'. The article inevitably focusses on the airport scene - which has already sparked elsewhere.

Anti-gaming Labour MP Keith Vaz is also miffed: "I am absolutely shocked by the level of violence in this game and am particularly concerned about how realistic the game itself looks."

Vaz says he will raise the issue of the new game in parliament today.

for years and years game fans and designers have been waiting for the next 'realistic' game to come out, now there here we dont want them!! the content does not condone terrorism, but rather by showing it in a realistic light, puts into perspective its name.."terror".
